Karen Donaldson is returning from maternity leave
We are delighted to announce that popular physiotherapist, Karen Donaldson, will be returning to work with us in the new year after maternity leave.
Karen has an avid interest in exercise rehabilitation and human movement. She completed her degree of physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, which complimented her earlier studies of Myotherapy and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement at RMIT Victoria.
Karen utilises her skills in manual therapy, postural assessments and treatment, and in the teaching of clinical Pilates to provide a holistic approach to her treatment of injuries. Since finishing post-graduate studies in clinical Pilates at DMA, Melbourne, she uses real-time ultrasound to test cores strength, and enjoys instructing classes in strength and conditioning, and equipment-based Clinical Pilates.
Life outside the rehabilitation world include a passion for mountain biking, surfing and keeping up with her cheeky, active son Will. Will is now enjoying playing big brother to little Archie, born in May.
Karen will be starting back with us for two sessions/week - Tuesday 10am - 3pm and Fridays 10am - 3pm - as of the 27th January.
