The Waurn Ponds Physiotherapy Clinic has been operating since 2005, and recently moved from the Waurn Ponds shopping cenre to the new state-of-the-art Leisurelink Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
In addition to our usual friendly, professional, hands-on Physiotherapy and Pilates services, we now have Hydrotherapy, Podiatry and Massage on site.
Of course you dont have to be a Leisurelink member to attend our clinic.
The Clinic is open Weekdays and has EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities to enable direct claims from private health insurance at the time of consultation.
The clinic also stocks a wide variety of health related products such as lumbar rolls, sports tape, pillows, braces and exercise equipment.
Our Clinical Staff
Steven Stahl
Physiotherapist & Clinic Manager
Steve is the senior physiotherapist and managing partner of the practice. He graduated in 1995 and in 2012 completed a Master of Sports Physiotherapy. Steve has a special interest in knee and shoulder injuries, as well as dry needling and kinesiology taping. Steve is a keen runner and has completed 7 marathons and he also enjoys surfing.
Deb Friend (nee Murphy)
Physiotherapist
Deb graduated in 2007 after completing a Masters in Physiotherapy. Deb originally from Queensland has spent some time working in London before settling in Geelong. Deb has a special interest in water sports & long distance running.
Nick Maister
Physiotherapist
Nick graduated in 2004. Originally from New Zealand, Nick has spent the last 5 years working as a physio both in Australia and the UK. He is a very keen sportsman and particularly enjoys surfing and hockey. Nick is currently studying Post Graduate Medicine at Deakin University.
Camille Fromm
Physiotherapist
Camille has a special interest in the treatment of lower back problems and sciatica, as well as cervical headaches and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Since graduating she has attended courses in Sports Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates and the McKenzie Method.
Kate O'Neill
Physiotherapist
Kate graduated from the University of Sydney in 2008 and has since worked as a private physiotherapist. She has recently moved to Geelong to study postgraduate medicine at Deakin. Kate has a special interest in sporting injuries and women’s health.
Rebecca Morarty
Podiatrist
Rebecca has a specialist interest in lower limb biomechanics, including footwear choices and orthotic therapy. Her interests also include Aussie Rules Football, soccer, basketball, track and field, recreational running and all fitness activities.
Anne Buso
Sports Dietitian
Anne is a Sports Dietitian and consults with people from all levels of sport to help them maximise their performance through correct nutrition. Anne is also involved with the athletes from the Barwon Sports Academy.
Gabby Pinge
Remedial Massage Therapist
Gabby is a remedial massage therapist and exercise physiologist. She has worked in the health and fitness industry for the past 20 years. Massage clients can claim directly from their health fund using HICAPS.
Regan Gill
Remedial Massage Therapist
Regan has been practising Clinical Massage Therapy full time for the last 8 years.
Previously working in a large and successful sports medicine clinic in Melbourne, Regan was the Massage and Myotherapy head therapist and department manager.
