Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre
283 Latrobe Tce (Cnr Little Myers St), Geelong
Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre is situated centrally on Latrobe Terrace and was established in Geelong 1985 as a multidisciplinary musculoskeletal clinic. Over the years many additions and renovations have been undertaken to make CBSMC what it is today - the largest and most comprehensive facility for the management and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in regional Victoria.
This clinic also houses podiatrists, massage therapists, myotherapists, acupuncturists / chinese herbal medicine practitioners, sports psychologist and a dietician, as well as a large and expert staff of physiotherapists and sports doctors.
CBSMC has a strong association with local and Melbourne medical specialists and doctors and is able to provide a comprehensive management program with experienced and professional practitioners for all sporting, musculoskeletal and pre- and post- operative rehabilitation.
In recent years, the centre closed it's hydrotherapy pool to build a fully equipped Pilates and rehabilitation gymnasium. This downstairs Pilates and rehab centre also houses a real-time ultrasound, and Cybex machine.
The clinic has also developed close links with major sporting bodies in Geelong, such as the Geelong Football Club, the Supercats Basketball Club, Geelong Hockey, and most local football and netball clubs.

Corio Bay Sports Medicine Centre has a purpose-built and fully-equipped Pilates, Fitness and Rehabilitation Gymnasium.

Real-Time Ultrasound is used our physios which enables real-time study of deep muscles as they contract. This allows both the patient and the physiotherapist to view the contraction as it happens, leaving little room for suppositiion.
