Corio Bay Health Group - Belmont (formerly known as Barwon Physiotherapy) was established in 1982 by one of the fathers of Geelong Physiotherapy, Peter Smith.
Physiotherapy
This clinic offers a superior Physiotherapy service provided by expert physio, Andrew Franke. Andrew has a wealth of knowledge and practical ability to enable him to treat and diagnose all forms of musculoskeletal problems.
The clinic is able to offer treatments for all spinal conditions, ie back and neck, headaches, sporting injuries, muscle strains and joint problems.
He also has the ability to provide Pilates instruction, exercise therapy, manual therapy, and electrotherapy and can utilise any of these to improve all musculoskeletal problems.
Podiatry
'Podiatry at Belmont' is a superior podiatry service that was established by Lyndal McGuire and Louise Jeffery in 1985. Together with Karen Rhodes there is a wide range of podiatry services available including nail surgery, general foot care and orthotics for the general public, DVA patients and the sporting public.
The podiatrists service nursing homes, and are prepared to visit clients in their own homes.
Massage
Anna Burgess has been providing massage services at Corio Bay Health Group - Belmont since 1996. Anna provides relaxation massage, therapeutic massage, and lymphodaema massage for a wide range of clients.
